Today we would like to show you some posters. Typically poster is a combination of both textual and graphic elements, although a poster may be either wholly graphical or wholly text. We love posters because they are fascinating design projects. And they can vary a lot, they may have different goals and objectives. Some posters can be an expression of pure creativity, they look cool, and don't have any special purpose, except their visual aesthetic. Others communicate their message of some social problems or social inequality. There are posters that are aimed at motivating people to something, there are riot posters, there are advertising posters, which main task is promoting a certain product or service. There are plenty of different posters. Musical posters in their turn are a symbiosis of creativity and promotion. So today we've prepared 20 examples of cool music gig posters for your inspiration.
1. New Order concert in San Fransisco
This official poster for New Order gig in San Francisco was designed in 2014 by independent design studio La Boca from London, the UK.
2. Adele 2016 Tour Posters
Another great work from La Boca studio. This time they designed a series of official posters to accompany Adele's 2016 European Tour. Each performance had its own unique poster, only available to buy at the venue on the night, and limited to 200 copies, 5 of which were secretly signed by Adele herself. 27 posters were created in total, one design for each location on the tour, and color variants for multiple nights in the same city.
3. Springtide Festival Poster
This poster for Springtide Festival was designed by Pedro Oyarbide from Madrid, Spain.
4. Pixies
This official poster for Pixies gig in Montreal was created in 2017 by Andrew Fairclough (Kindred Studio) from Venice, California.
5. Valentin Strikalo Music Band
This poster for Valentin Strikalo Music Band gig in Minsk was made by a Minsk-based illustration artist & graphic designer Nadzeya Makeyeva.
6. Psych night Productions events
A series of posters for Psych night Productions events were made by One Horse Town Illustration Studio from Cape Town, South Africa.
7. Poster for 4 of the bands
This poster was created by Elio Moavero from Johannesburg, South Africa. The author decided to depict four lead singers from four bands that were playing on the Owl Stage at Lush Festival.

9. Tresor Club events
Vanja Golubovic is a graphic designer, born in Serbia, now living and working between Berlin and Geneva. She works closely with the Berlin-based techno club Tresor, and designs flyers and posters for their events.
10. Amen Dunes
This awesome poster was created for the Amen Dunes gig by Michael Sallit, a graphic designer based in Paris, France.
11. MasiMas Festival
Quim Marin is a graphic designer from Barcelona, Spain. In 2017 he designed the identity and posters for the MasiMas Festival.

14. Posters for Enver Izmaylov
Enver Izmaylov is a folk and jazz guitarist who plays guitar by tapping the neck of the electric guitar with his fingertips as if it were a keyboard. Posters for his gig were made by Ukrainian Branding & Advertising Agency - Tough Slate Design.
15. Mars Red Sky UK Tour
This tour poster for Mars Red Sky was created by the Smoke Signals Studio based in Bilbao, Spain.
16. Timber Timbre
Dawid Ryski is a Poland-based designer, who created this poster for the Timber Timbre gig in Warsaw, in 2017.
17. Billy Talent
Another work by Dawid Ryski. Again for the Warsaw-based gig, but this time Billy Talent.
18. Music event at Mora Mora Venue
Alex Lechuga is a graphic designer and illustrator, based in Cancún, Mexico. He created a series of awesome posters for random music gigs in Mora Mora Venue.
